In honor of George Lucas’ birthday today, I was going to do a review on The People Versus George Lucas, but as I watched the film I realized I would have to write more about some of the arguments within the film rather than the film itself. The movie briefly goes through George Lucas’ career and the rise of Star Wars. It then goes into the fandom and the betrayal that a lot of fans felt with the digitally updated versions of the original trilogy and the release of the prequels. This sense of betrayal is what the whole movie is really all about.
